2026 ROSE/ROBE Breastfeeding, Power and Birth Justice Summit

Join Reaching Our Sisters Everywhere (ROSE), Inc. and Reaching Our Brothers Everywhere (ROBE) in New Orleans August 26th – 29th, 2026 for our 15th Anniversary Breastfeeding & Birth Justice Summit, “The 92%: Breastfeeding, Power & Birth Justice.”

Anchored in the reality that 92% of Black women voters showed up at the polls and did the right thing, this convening centers the political and embodied power of Black women and the crucial role of Black fathers and partners whose votes, voices, and vital labor have long nourished this nation, often without recognition, safety, or justice. All are welcome who are ready to learn, listen, share and act.

We will connect 1619, Medical Apartheid, and the Politics of breastfeeding to the realities Black families face today. With dedicated fatherhood sessions led by ROBE, this gathering is open to all, families, lactation support providers, birth workers, clinicians, students, and allies, ready to build strategy, share solutions, and advance breastfeeding equity and birth justice in their communities.
